Would you like to become a sponsor?
As a sponsor you support an animal and ensure it a more dignified life. With a sponsorship you can either support a specific dog or alternatively become a back-up sponsor.
As a dog sponsor, you can support a dog or cat:
A full sponsorship for an animal that is in Hope for Catas Strays Shelter costs € 50 / month.
A full sponsorship for an animal in the Safe Haven Shelter costs € 60 / month. A partial sponsorship costs € 30 / month.
You can choose the amount of your back-up sponsorship from € 10 / month. Please note on the bank transfer that you are a back-up sponsor.
If you are not sure whether you can carry the sponsorship over a longer period of time and would still like to support us, we recommend that you support us in the form of a one-off donation.
Please note: We plan with the pledged donations and include them in our budget. If pledged donations do not arrive, this will get us into trouble.

Although we have numerous godmothers and godfathers who support a dog, high costs remain with us.
The medical costs alone are around € 3,000 – 4,000 per month. Butthe medical treatment of our furry friends is urgently needed! Many of the puppies that come to us are sick and would die without medical help.
All dogs and cats must be wormed regularly. For the puppies/kittens this is even essential for survival, as they are often so wormed that they die in agony. We also need regular flea/tick medication .
All dogs and cats are neutered, fully vaccinated, chipped and must be registered. On the one hand because it is required by law and on the other hand to protect the animals from diseases. Likewise, a trip to their new home is not possible without all these vaccinations.
We need food to fill the hungry bellies of around 160 dogs in our shelter, 80 stray dogs and currently around 30 cats . Monthly we need about 3000 to 4000 kilos (3-4 tons) of food. In addition, we feed street dogs and the dogs in the Cornetu killing center.
The food is also very expensive in Romania. 1 bag of 10 kg dog food costs around € 8. We are therefore in urgent need of donations and are grateful for every euro that flows into our account.
